Be a Princess Camp

Let your child be a princess for a week! In this creative movement class, campers will move and dance like royalty while dressed as their favorite princesses.

GI Joe & Friends Camp

Campers will learn to think and move like GI Joe in this camp built around the action figure theme. Kids will dress as GI Joe, Power Rangers, the Karate Kid, or any other action figure or animated character.

Jungle Book Camp

Join Mowgli and his jungle pals for a unique camp experience! This camp will take students through the entire process of producing a play with music in just five days! Campers will join King Louie as they learn to walk like him, talk like him and have a ball doing all the fun Jungle Book scenes.

Muppet Puppet Camp

Join us for a three-day puppet camp with local artist and puppeteer Scott Foxx. Campers will be guided through the design and creation of their own moving-mouth, hand-and-rod puppet, with a short performance on the final day.

Music Under the Sea

Come let your child vacation at the beach inside the Averitt Center! This three-day camp is a wonderful opportunity to expose your young child to a variety of performing arts. Through dancing, playing instruments, and singing, we will explore beach and sea themes.

Choir Camp

Designing Dinnerware Clay Camp

Using hand-building techniques, kids will create a functional set of tableware for their homes. They will create cups and saucers, sets of plates, and bowls using slabs, coils and pinching techniques. The campers will personalize their creations through pottery decorating techniques.
