Mother’s Work: Textiles from Public and Private Collections

Public Exhibition Dates: May 3 – June 22, 2013

Drawing from public and private collections of handmade domestic textiles, this exhibition will feature embroidery, cut-work, tatting, and crochet. Exploring the lost arts of busy hands in a pre-industrialized domestic world, the exhibition will have samples of lacework and other textiles used predominantly in the home.
